Location:
Choose a space where the children can sit in front of the entertainer with some room to move.
Inside parties are typically better due to fewer attractions.
Any music, tv, game stations or mounds of toys should be either removed or turned off.
Adult conversations should take place in another area as it is very distracting to both the children and your performer.
Food:
It is best to schedule the food/snacks at a time when the entertainer is NOT performing. It is distracting and difficult for the children to respond or sing with a full mouth.
Try to keep the eating period to a usual time for the children.
Face painting:
We require a bowl of water, a table and 2 chairs & shade when required
This is an appropriate time to introduce a craft or game. (see below)
Payment:
If your entertainer voluntarily goes overtime, you are not obligated to pay extra, but tips are always appreciated.
It is preferable that the children do not see payment being exchanged.
For this reason we ask you to put the money in an envelope or some clients prefer to put the money in a loot bag.
